Summary: Amidst the chaos of Bakumatsu, a hitokiri (assassin) known as hitokiri battosai appeared. Full Metal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師)



Summary: The series begins with an introduction to Edward & Alphonse Elric, “alchemists” who through the use of alchemy, can transmute matter into another shape or form. After an attempt to recreate their dead mother, Alphonse loses his entire body and Edward loses his left leg. In order to save his brother from death, Edward places Alphonse’s soul within a suit of armor at the sacrifice of his right arm. Edward and Alphonse set out afterwards in search of the philosopher’s stone in hopes of restoring themselves to their original bodies.
